Pekin Restaurant

Pekin Restaurant is a luxurious Chinese Restaurant that offers a variety of Chinese and Halal cuisine. Its modern Banquet Hall can cater for 150 tables for Wedding Dinners, Annual Dinners, Birthday Parties and other functions. The Restaurant has become the choice destination for meeting, gathering and dining for company functions, weddings and family get-together.

Sutera Mall

With 3 retail floors spread over 677,000 sq.ft, Sutera Mall comprises of 250 retail outlets with creative tenant mix, offering diverse products for family shopping that caters to shoppers of all ages.

Shoppers will have the opportunity to indulge in fine dining and shopping, and spend care-free time in leisure activities.

Sutera Mall has steadily continued its climb as a prominent shopping landmark in the southern region. The Mall, which opened its doors in August 2008, is going to expand its built up area to another 500,000 sq. ft. with a nett lettable area of 250,000 sq. ft. With the expansion exercise, the numbers of retail outlets will soar to 550 from 250.

Currently, the occupancy stands at 99.9%. The over demands and needs to continue building upon the success of the mall through constant reinvention and innovation in term of retail offerings, retail concepts and shopping experiences, contribute to the expansion. The creation of the right ambiance for the different festivals had helped Sutera Mall to be different from the rest of the Shopping Malls in JB. We create ambiance for shoppers to enjoy their shopping at every Festival.

The expansion will be in 3 locations:

The 12 units F&B retail with alfresco dinning at Level 2
Level 1 conversion of car park to retail
East Wing, a block of Multi Storey Car Park

Which will be extended to envelop the exterior of the Mall from the current Shiki Garden of the West site to the East. The construction had completed in November 2011. The target F&B concept will be fast food, themed and concepts restaurants, clubs, bistro and pubs.

The construction will start in March 2012 and target completion will be in December 2012. We will target retailers for home furnishing, children apparel, specialty shop, gifts & souvenirs, beauty care, pharmacy, F&B, etc.

There will be 4 levels of car parking, with 700 parking lots and a level of retail with seamless connection to existing Mall on all levels except the rooftop, where a 30,000 sq.ft. Public Library will be situated. Enrichment and tuition centres will congregate at the rooftop to provide convenience for parents who would be sending their children for enrichment lessons. Construction had started concurrently with Level 1's conversion and completion will be in one year’s time.

Sutera Mall always stands out for its A&P events which incorporates culture and education into shopping. The Management is always ready to educate younger generation and try its best to inculcate the right values and behavior for the betterment of the society.

With this East Wing Expansion plan, Sutera Mall will embrace a distinctive shopping experience that is to include the first Public Library into Shopping Mall in Johor Bahru. The learning and development centers would include enrichment, nursery, tuition, music, dancing, languages and professional courses.

Entertainment City

The Entertainment City with approximately 300,000 sqft space is another extension to Sutera Mall and is currently undergoing thorough planning. It is designed to contain most entertainment outlets, such as state-of-the-art Cinemas, Supermarket, International Food Court, Karaoke Centre, Fine Dining and many exciting and entertaining outlets.

To provide a complete shopping experience, a Departmental Store may be incorporated where shoppers can purchase blue-chip products at their convenience. As envisioned, this modern complex will become the centre of attraction to foreign and local tourists, and will be an Exhibition Centre showcasing commercial and cultural events and exhibitions.
